So...

I have finally decided to get myself a blog. I assume that for everyone other than me it will be incredibly boring and possibly nonsensical (if even read).
I suppose the first thing i should do is tell anyone reading a bit about myself, which I won't do. I'd rather people (again if anyone reads this) dont know who i am. So apart from babbling nonsensical what can i say in my first post? Not much. But hopefully my mind will start functioning properly again soon. I suppose that the content of this 1st post was doomed to fail. If I was in the right mood to post insightful bullshit i would never have got around to making a blog. It seems to always be that way with people. You can always see what should be done, or be able to do it. Never both. I suppose it could be seen as a blessing aswell as a curse. encouraging humans to interact to achieve. The great flaw here is that they dont. So there is no progress. Unless you count going backwards as progress.
So... what to rant about now. I suppose a great place to start would be the New Zealand (yes I'm from NZ) highschool education system. It's almost painful sitting through some lessons. Watching your teachers struggle with basic english and maths. Sure the saying is "those who can't do teach" but is this a good system? or are we becoming a dumb nation? Wouldn't it be better to be taught by all those who know what they are doing? But then, all those people have decent jobs. Nothing against teachers, it's just that if you can do something well and be paid heaps for it, would you choose to teach it to a bunch of rowdy annoying teens for 1/2 or 1/4 of the money? This means that as students we are often left wanting when it comes to education. But, you say, anyone can teach us, all they need are the right resources. NO. This is one of the problems, underqualified teachers trying to educate through textbooks. anyone who has had one of those teachers will know it's never as effective as a teacher who knows their subject, has lived their subject.
God this is a boring post. I hope to improve the quality over time, assuming I dont just give up on this blog after a few days.
